The Ingredients To Die For website is our way of bringing our ingredients to you with the click of a button. Getting used to any new website can be challenging and this page contains information to help you find what you need, whether you want to browse or get to what you want quickly. Once you've mastered navigating the website you will be able to get an order through within mere minutes. Like everything at Ingredients To Die For this will remain a work in progress because our goal is to empower our customer to take control. As you read through this section you'll find links to the categories as well as links to take you directly to any relevant video tutorials. Whenever you see the camera icon you can click on the link to go to the video tutorial. If there are things that you feel would benefit yourself, and other customers, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate your needs to make shopping quick and enjoyable.
CRAFTING COSMETIC - FORMULARY / STARTER RECIPES
If you want to create your own products and recipes you will want to familiarize yourself with our Formulary category. In this category you'll find starter recipes for almost every item (or type of item). If you are new to product development, or if you just have a new project that you have no experience with, you will find the Formulary very helpful. The Formulary is broken into multiple sub categories and you can either go to each category for browsing or you can click on the green "quick add" link, from the category listing to see a display of the contents in that sub category.
From every formula / recipe you can load the formula / recipe directly into one of our calculators by clicking on the "pencil icon" to the right of the formula / recipe. This will load the displayed formula / recipe into our "Ingredient Percentage Calculator" where you can modify the percentages, the ingredients, or just the quantity. By default this will load 100 grams
To browse or look for ingredients you can use the search box in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will bring up any instance where a webpage refers to the search term so, to narrow the results try to be as specific as possible. Once the search has returned results you can scroll through those results and click on any item to go to that page and review the information or make a purchase.
To find a product using the search feature you can follow the steps outlined below or watch our video tutorial above:
Type the name of the ingredient into the search box
a drop down list will display
then use your mouse cursor to click on the one that you're looking for
then scroll through the results to find that item and click on the item name to go to that page
To find a product using the categories you can scroll through the category list on the top left side of the screen and then click on the Product Catalog Category to open the subcategories and go directly to that category. From each category you can also click on the green gear icon to the left of the category name to load a quick add listing which only displays the name, inci name, sizes, and prices. This is a handy feature when you know exactly what you want and don't need to review information. On each category and sub category page you'll find a brief description of that category at the top of the page along with any other important details that apply to that category only.
Click on the Product Catalog to go to the main catalog page
Either use the sub category listing below the Product Catalog to find your category or scroll down and select your category from
the category listing in the center of the page
From either direction outlined above then you just click on your items of interest
PLACING AN ORDER
You can shop through the website as a registered account holder or as an unregistered user and you can also register an account but not create or save billing or shipping records. When you don't register you will not be able to track your order history or your order shipping details through the website because the website won't know who you are. When you register an account you will be able to save shipping and billing records for easy shopping in the future and you will always have a record of any purchases ever made under your account which you can access easily by clicking on the Order Status link in the green bar that runs across the top of the page. That will open a list of orders and then you can click on any order link to view the order and the tracking related to that order. When you register an account but no billing or shipping records you won't have the ease of selecting billing records or shipping addresses when you place your orders but you will still have the order history and order tracking information.
*No credit card information is saved on our website. This information is only stored on our secure server and our staff does not have access to those records or any credit card information.
Placing an Order as an Unregisterd User
add any items to your shopping cart by clicking on the size that you want, the quantity that you want and then the green cart button below the size options
click on check out when ready to get to the shipping screen
enter your zip code and state
check the residential address when your business is in a residential area or
check the business address when your business is in a commercial zoned area
select your desired shipping method by clicking on the shipping methods drop down menu
check the signature required box if your package can not be left at your door or you just need to control who receives your package (this is handy when you have children or elderly living in the household and you don't want them to be allowed to receive the package
click on update cart to change your details and see new information, i.e., the cost of different shipping methods
click on checkout if you're ready to check out
click on continue shopping if you need to add more items
when you check out you'll need to type in your contact details
if your billing and / or shipping details are the same you can check the shipping information same as contact information box and / or the billing information same as contact information to have the website auto fill those details
then click on 'proceed to checkout' to finalize your order
after you review your order details and our Terms and Conditions check the box and your order will be processed
once your order is confirmed your card will be charged
you will receive a follow up screen that reads "Thank You for your Order with your Order Number"
you will also receive an automatic email confirmation to the address you used to place your order
Placing an Order as a Registered User
log in to your account by clicking on the log in link in the green bar that runs across the top of the screen
follow steps as above to load your cart and select your shipping method then click on checkout
if you have saved billing and shipping records the next screen will display those records for you to select the ones that you would like to use for your current order
if you want to ship to an address that is not in your saved shipping records
click on create new shipping record and enter your new ship to information
check the box to make your newly entered ship to address your default shipping address
then click insert shipping record
if you want to pay with a credit card that is not in your saved billing records
click on create new billing record and enter your new credit card information
then check the box to make this your default billing address
you can also check the box to make this your default shipping address
now your new records will be displayed as the default choices in the checkout screen
once you've confirmed them click on 'proceed to checkout' to finalize your order
after you review your order details and our Terms and Conditions check the box and your order will be processed
once your order is confirmed your card will be charged
you will receive a follow up screen that reads "Thank You for your Order with your Order Number"
you will also receive an automatic email confirmation to the address you used to place your order
