ALOE CREAM CONDITIONER RECIPE ... This thick, rich conditioner formula / recipe is easy to make, and utilizes the amazing power of Meadowfoam Seed Oil for superior hair care! Meadowfoam Seed Oil is not only a high molecular weight oil (shown to penetrate the hair shaft), it is also an important source of Omega fatty acids which are crucial for beautiful hair and a healthy scalp. Aloe Vera 200X Powder packs the product with vitamins, minerals, and softness. BTMS provides cationic conditioning and adds a fluid thickness. Alkyl Esters adds shine and static reduction and control. Silk Protein provides water binding properties, protein, and natural lipids. Panthenol soothes the scalp and beautifies the hair with lustre while improving comb out. The result of this conditioner formula / recipe is something WONDERFUL!

We have chosen to show Optiphen Plus in this formula however, you may use Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate (GSB) for your preservative, if you'd prefer. Just remove the Optiphen Plus, add 2.0% Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate to your water phase and reduce the water to 78.5% to account for that extra 1/2% of GSB.

For additional hair and scalp benefits you may substitute all, of part, of the water with a Hydrosol or one of our Extracts. They not only offer benefits to the hair and scalp but, label appeal that meets the driving desire for botanical ingredients. TryRosemary Hydrosol for scalp stimulation, Lavender Hydrosol for healing benefits or Rose Hydrosol for soothing benefits.

Of course, the 'pices de rsistance' to take this to the next level .. an essential oil blend to give it natural fragrance and a wealth of hair and scalp benefits. Try our AT530 Healthy Locks to give it a fresh citrus scent or our AT180 Sugar & Spice to give it a subtle sweet / spicy scent. You'll add these to your Phase C ingredients.
