Body Wash Recipe

Review: Be the first to review Body Wash Recipe

This is an all purpose cleanser for head to toe use designed to leave the skin silky soft even through repeated hand washing. This is a basic body wash but a very high foam. The steps required to make this product are as simple as it gets. Great first cleanser formula.

Ingredients:

Phase A

Make Formula
100 g
60.7% Distilled Water or Purified Water
1.5% Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate
2% Vegetable Glycerin
0.3% Aloe Vera 200x Powder
Phase B
20% Sulfoacetate/Sulfosuccinate Blend
2.5% Natural Surfactant Enhancer
10% CocoFoam
2% Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed
1% Essential Oil Blend
QS Sodium Chloride

Phase A: Combine and mix until completely dissolved. Heat to 170f. Hold for 20 minutes. Mix thoroughly.
Phase B: Combine with Phase A while mixing.

This product will be very foamy, so allow to settle for several hours to a full day before packaging. Use Sodium Chloride to adjust the viscosity of the wash. Somewhere between 1 - 3% should achieve the desired thickness. Create the formula without salt first and wait awhile to determine true thickness and then adjust as needed.
