Our Cranberry & Coconut Sugar Scrub is not an oily scrub, it's a rich, soft, balm that has the elegant appeal of the scrubs used in salons and spas. Developed for the addition of up to 1% fragrance, it will seem slightly dry before you add your oils but will then be smooth, creamy, and luscious. This scrub has no floating oils so you can scoop it out by the handful and get it onto your skin, with no drip or mess, where it will begin to soften, as it's used, offering a pleasant melting sensation. Rinses clean, leaving the nurturing oils on the skin, where it turns white as it emulsfies with the water from your shower, creating an instant lotion, leaving skin hydrated and non-greasy. Easy to use, and easy to ship, with no leaking.

*TEWL ... Trans Epidermal Water Loss is the phenomenon of water loss, through the epidermal layer, to the outside environment. Our first goal, with intelligent moisturization, is to slow this process as much as possible. This condition is exaserbated in certain skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, age or other damage, resulting in dry dehydrated skin. Vaseline used to be the all time solution to slowing this water loss and improving the skin moisture barrier (which is what all emollients do) but, the Safflower Liposome, which is the plants means of carrying its oil and nutrients throughtout the plant, beats Vaseline by 15X.

Scent Instructions: May be sold unscented as it does have a delicate fruit scent, in which case we recommend that you add 1% Almond, or Coconut, Oil to soften the base while maintaining INCI correctness. To add fragrance do not heat the product, just mix it in with a spatula or propeller blade. Do not use a stick blender, due to the thickness of the product. For a truly cooling experience and enhanced tissue detoxification try adding one of our tissue detox essential oil blends; AT513 Cooling Grapefruit Mint or AT235 Refreshing Lavender Mint. or, for a more fruity effect, try adding our new AT234 Fruit Blossom, and the scent alone will make you want to use the scrub.

For Enhanced Lymphatic Stimulation: Take small handfuls and work into skin with gentle circular motions. To promote good circulation and detoxification, work from the feet to the torso then from the hands to the torso, paying special attention to cellulite and other problem areas.

Caution: Avoid use on cuts or delicate areas. Do not exfoliate if skin is sunburned or irritated in any way. Be careful not to slip on wet, or slippery, areas created while using the scrub.

NOTICE :: This product is an oil, and butter, base. Heat will cause it to melt, and liquify. This is normal and will not effect the performance. If it arrives in liquid form just shake, or mix, it and allow it to cool and it will re-solidify. You can refrigerate to cool it faster.
