INGREDIENTS TO DIE FOR RECIPES FOR SUCCESS
CREAMY BUTTER BAR
"RECIPE"
Create your own Butter Bar to smooth moisturizer across the skin and leave it soft and pampered. Creamy Butter Bar uses only natural ingredients: butters and oils for emollience; protein to enhance the skins natural moisturizing factor and reduce dry skin; pure Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to soothe and protect the skin; along with natural preservative.
In this formulation (recipe), NatureMulse emulsifies a small content of aqueous (water based) materials (Aloe, Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate, Revolution E & Silk Protein) into the Shea Butter base. Naturemulse was created to mimic the skin's own lipid barrier, and the lactylate within that blend provides true moisture retention and a smooth feel on the skin. This bar is thickened with Cetyl Esters, rather than the traditional Beeswax, which contributes improved glide and cushiony body. The finished formulation (recipe) is a very creamy, heavy emollient for extra dry skin. Perfect for elbows and heels.
The formula demonstrates the possibility for inclusion of aqueous ingredients in, what would traditionally be, an anhydrous product. A unique twist on a traditional product formula gives this formula a skill rating of Experienced. With the inclusion of Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate, a time tested, food grade, natural preservative this formulation (recipe) is now All Natural. The addition of Revolution E helps the other ingredients to absorb, into the skin, offering improved performance and enhanced anti-oxidant protection.
The best part of this Creamy Butter Bar? It's very cost effective. If you were buying the actives (Aloe200X, Revolution E) at 4oz, the fragrance (AT204) at 1oz, and the remaining ingredients at the 1lb size ... your cost for each 2oz lotion bar would only be $1.47

... want something unique and top shelf? Use small candy, or soap, molds to create one time applications that fit in the palm of the hands and make perfect massage bars, or an easy way to apply to tired feet. Pour the butter, while still warm and pop out when solid.
FRAGRANCE:
... for a "romantic" massage bar try adding .5 to 1.0% AT204 Sensual Musk or AT273 Seductress.
... for a refreshing foot massage try adding 1.0% AT513 Cooling Grapefruit Mint.
1 When the Aloe is 1/2% of the total water phase, you are turning (re-constituting) the water into aloe juice and do not have to list water as an ingredient. You can just use Aloe Vera Juice as the ingredient.
2 You need to make sure to heat the butter to 170F otherwise when it cools it can become gritty in the finalized product.
